Services
Individual Counseling
I provide one on one counseling services to adults dealing with childhood trauma, specializing in people pleasers, anxious overachievers and adult children of narcissistic parents. Additionally, I have experience working with individuals who are survivors of domestic violence and sexual abuse. As a former teacher, I also really enjoy working with parents as they navigate the parenting journey as cycle breakers.

Â
Communication and Connection Group:Â
This is an in-person group for those in the Austin area. There will be an emphasis on communication and connection (and some self reflection) within the group so that you can take what you learn out into the “real world”, while also fostering some new relationships within members of the group. This group was created with the realization that as adults, no longer in school and so many working from home, it is very hard to make friends and create your community. Everyone is encouraged to get to know one another and exchange information and start building friendships and community.
The group will include a small group activity followed by a large group discussion. It will be 12 weeks long. Activities will include experiential exercises including art, sand tray and movement. In order to create safety and community within the group, I do ask that you try to commit to attend all 12 weeks, unless otherwise discussed with me.
Where: Open Heart Counseling
When: Wednesdays 7:00- 8:30 PM
Fee: $720 ($60/wk) paid upon sign up. Please email [email protected] with interest.
